Philippians 1:9-11
And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Zechariah 4:6b
Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Host.
There was a Common Denominator in all of these Spiritual Movements- with different Individuals and in different geographic locations-They were each Totally and Completely ____________________ upon the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 13:2-3
As they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off.
Philippians 1:29-30
For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, 30 engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.
If these two men had settled for a lower version of Following Jesus, their lives could have been much more _________________ and Comfortable and yet we would not be spending anytime at all looking at this story God wrote through them.
Acts 13:4
So being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.
